This 10-story parking structure is a great example of the capabilities of precast concrete. With the original design being cast-in-place, bids came in 22% over budget. After converting the design to precast the owner realized a savings of 6% under their original budget and the construction schedule was reduced by 3 months in comparison to the best proposed cast-in-place schedule.

Safety and security are key qualities of any parking structure design and particularly in hospital applications. Precast concrete’s ability to provide open clear spans creates light, bright interiors within the structure, reassuring users while making traffic patterns easier to understand and navigate.
